Each piece may be purchased as a glossy or matte giclee canvas, a giclee paper print with eight surface/type options - with or without a frame/mat - as well as an art, acrylic, metal or wood print and more! Every purchase comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Giclee (pronounced "gee-clay") is a highly sophisticated inkjet printing process that was introduced in the late 1980s and produces prints which truly capture the artist's original intent. Giclee is a type of high-quality, digital printing process that uses pigment-based inks and high-resolution printing equipment to produce detailed, accurate reproductions of original artwork. Pixels.com uses this process to create giclee prints of original artworks on various sizes and on different materials, such as canvas, paper, wood, acrylic or metal. Even museums have realized the vast potential of this technology and have made giclee editions a permanent part of their collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), Museum of Modern Art (San Francisco) and Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles) to name a few. These prints are created from high-resolution digital images, using the finest quality ink and paper stock available, resulting in color saturation and image detail capture that exceeds other types of image reproduction. Important Note Re: Your Monitor Calibration All computer monitors are different and the colors may appear different on every monitor screen due to calibration. Please understand that the sample photo color/s of your online purchase item/s may be slightly different due to the calibration of your monitor's calibration.

About
Mixed Media Artist - Photo Painting
Art is not about the tools used to create it. It is about the vision, message, or emotion of the artist.
Painting, drawing and photography are mediums through which artists create art.
Photo painting combines the disciplines of photography and painting. I use image editing and paint software to go beyond dark room techniques in order to add further expression to the image.
A computer is a medium through which I can express my vision of the formal qualities of art including line, form, color, texture, composition and rhythm.
Sometimes referred to as "Natural Media", I create 2D images in my computer's virtual environment with the use of painting tools that emulate natural media styles.
This is a technique of combining two or more images from varying sources into one image. This is most commonly achieved by the use of layering techniques in image editing and paint software.
Two of art's major mediums, painting and photography, are typically perceived as entirely independent practices.
It is not uncommon for an artist to be proficient in both brushwork and camerawork separately, or
even combine these two crafts, along with other forms of media art, within the same piece.
As a mixed media artist specializing in photo painting, my ongoing goal is to combine an array of artistic insights and crafts into original fine art pieces which have been reproduced as giclee prints on acid-free papers using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of color and can be purchased from my online STORE.
